This travels with the trial and onto its report. In December "as-planted was never collected" without a reason becomes "why is this trial missing a layer".
This changes what these designs are CHECKED against and not one thing about the designs themselves — no plot moves. Naming none puts them back to being checked against every machine the grower might send, which blocks nothing either.
The row stays on the board, struck through, with the reason on it. Nothing is deleted — a lost plot is a result, and the report has to say what happened to it.
